General students of Jagannath University (JNU) organized a rally and protest march condemning the brutal attacks by Israeli occupying forces in Palestine.
On Wednesday (March 19), the march began after the Maghrib prayer from the university’s central mosque. It later circled Bahadur Shah Park and concluded with a brief assembly at the university’s Shanto Chattar area.
During the protest march, students chanted slogans such as: “Free, Free Palestine,” “Unite the Muslim World, Liberate Palestine,” “Hit Trump on both cheeks with shoes,” “Action to Action, Direct Action,” among others.
At the assembly following the march:

Riazul Islam, the General Secretary of JNU Chhatra Shibir, said: “When Muslims are killed in Palestine, when Palestinian children are attacked, we feel a pain as if our hearts are being struck. I call upon the youth of our country and the youth of the entire world: if you remain asleep, if you sell the weapons of Badr and try to establish Islam through prayer beads, we will continue to suffer forever. The time has come to rise again with the weapons of Badr.”

The President of the JNU branch of Islami Chhatra Andolon stated: “To unite the global Muslim community, every Muslim country must come together. If Islamic leadership can gather strength in every country, we will be able to deliver a decisive blow to Israel.”

Faisal Murad, Co-Organizer of the Central Committee of the Democratic Student Union, said: “My brothers, my sisters, little children are left starving and without medical care, and then bombs are dropped on them. Every brother and sister in the Muslim world bleeds. We strongly condemn the barbaric actions of the Jews, Israel, and America. We make an earnest appeal to the entire world to protect our Palestinian brothers and sisters.”
