Jagannath University Representative: On the occasion of his birthday, Kazi Zia Uddin Baseet, Vice-President of the central committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party's student wing and a fourth-batch student of the Finance Department at Jagannath University, has taken a unique initiative.
Today, Friday (February 28), followers of Baseet provided services to admission-seeking candidates and their parents at the entrance exam for the Business Education Faculty's 'C' unit of the university. They set up this service camp at Bahadur Shah Park.
At this time, they provided various primary and public health activities, including free medical check-ups, medicine supply, saline, and blood group determination for admission-seeking candidates and their parents.
When asked about this, Solaiman Khan Sagar of the medical camp said, “The 'C' unit entrance exam and Basit Bhai's birthday fell on the same day. Many fall ill while coming for the entrance exam. We have taken this initiative to provide them with primary medical care.”
Regarding the initiative of a different kind of medical campaign on his birthday, Kazi Zia Uddin Baseet said, “I could have cut a cake on my birthday if I wanted. But I thought something different could be done on my birthday that would benefit the underprivileged and common people. Since the 'C' unit entrance exam and my birthday fell on the same day, we took this initiative to help the admission-seeking candidates and their parents at Bahadur Shah Park.”
